Bernanke Doesn’t See Return Of ’70s Woes

Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke told Congress Thursday, “I don’t think we’re anywhere near the situation that prevailed in the 1970s.” In his second day of testimony on Capitol Hill, Bernanke was adamant. “First of all, no one wears three piece suits anymore and I haven’t seen an afro-pick in years. Plus, at least one of the BeeGees is dead.”
