Former White House Spokesman Writes Tell-All Book
Professional Sycophant Says Jobs In Private Sector For Gullible Ass-Kissers Surprisingly Scarce
There’s a very good chance you’ll never want to see Scott McClellan again by the end of this week as the former White House press secretary shills his book, “What Happened: Inside the Bush White House and Washington’s Culture of Deception,” on the TV talk show circuit in advance of the kiss-and-tell political memoir hitting bookstores in the next few days.
Savvy political observers who obtained advance copies of the book were shocked that McClellan’s book includes such startling revelations as: the White House tried to manipulate public opinion in advance of the Iraq War (gasp!), various government officials are mean-spirited and manipulative (what?!), and government operations are often inefficient (OMG!).
Personally, I had to sit down and catch my breath after learning these dark secrets about what goes on in our nation’s capital.
Somewhat less startling are revelations that McClellan claims he was misled and takes little or no responsibility for anything he did.
Of course, McClellan has a noble goal in writing the book. He states he wanted to write “an open and honest book” and “contribute to changing Washington for the better.” All for only $27.95 (hardcover).
A spokesman for the former White House spokesman said McClellan was “exhausted” from his attempts to write an open and honest book, saying it was incredibly hard work for a man who “made a career out of being a professional bullsh*t artist.”
