Greenspan Says Economy “On Edge” Of Recession
Stevie Nicks Seeks Damages, Says Former Fed Chairman Stole Lyrics from Her ’80’s Hit ‘Edge of Seventeen’

Describing Greenspan’s comments as “hauntingly familiar,” the former Fleetwood Mac singer proceeded to point out similarities between her 1981 hit “Edge of Seventeen” and the former Fed Chairman’s “impromptu” comments to reporters on the state of the economy.
Song lyrics: And so… with the slow… graceful flow… of age, I went forth… with an age old… desire… to please, on the edge of… seventeen
Greenspan comments: And so… with a slow… graceful flow… of an aging rally… please, the economy is on the edge of… recession. Oooo baby… ooo… said ooo….
Lawyers for Ms. Nicks are seeking unspecified monetary damages and royalties from any samples of her music on Mr. Greenspan’s upcoming rap CD.
Asked to comment, the habitually cryptic ex-Fed Chairman said, “No one knows how I feel… what I say… unless you read between the lines.”
