German sports car maker Porsche today announced the company would take a majority ownership stake in Volkswagen.
Excitement was short lived, however, as hundreds of dudes who drive a Jetta still got shot down when they used the line, “Wanna ride in my Porsche?”

Porsche officials said any merging of the two companies would take time but downplayed any impact on their racing team saying it would only be a matter of time before pit crews learned the new Porsche racing cars had the engine in the back.
